Our main charitable purpose is to relieve the poverty and suffering of individuals, families and communities living in poor areas, by providing basic necessities such as food provisions, clean water and hygiene products.
Our aim is to fight against food insecurity, water scarcity, and lack of shelter for the impoverished.
About Us
Founded by members of the Scottish community, Scot Aid is a Scottish charity registered as an SCIO (SC050319) with OSCR. Scot Aid believes in humanity, giving back, and being generous towards the impoverished and the most vulnerable.

Scot Aid has a paramount policy, to be honest, and open with our donors, volunteers and supporters about how our charitable work is being carried out. We are obliged to be transparent about our governance, staff, fundraising, donations and how they are being distributed to those in need.
DONATION POLICY
Scot Aid is a transparent charity that is committed to delivering humanitarian funds to the poorest, vulnerable and neediest beneficiaries within areas of operation effectively and as quickly as possible. However, for that to happen we have to spend some funds on administration costs which are necessary for running every charity and non-profit organization.
100% DONATION POLICY
We assure our donors that all restricted and specific donations will be used 100% for the specified purpose/project(s) without any deductions whatsoever.
However, we also urge our donors to support our administration costs as much as they can so that the charity’s work can continue to be as efficient and effective as possible.
